Corbin Russwin keyway

I found some old keys in my grandparents house they have a really nice bitting and I want to match a cylinder to the key. The problem is that I cant find the keyway that is stamped on the back. Is there such a thing as a N21 keyway or does N21 not relate to the keyway.

CR has a lot of different keyways, pinning specs, etc, they're all in there.

I found a keyway N21 on page 23, but you might want to check the pics to be sure that's what you actually have. Keep in mind pics in most cylinder guides are drawn from the perspective of the cylinder. In other words, if you're looking at the profile of the key from the tip toward the bow, it won't match the pic, the pic is what that key would fit in to. To compare a key to those pics, imagine cutting the bow off the key and looking at the profile from the rear (but don't actually do that unless you really intend to ruin a key). It can be a bit tricky to turn things around visually in your head like that, but you get used to it.

N21 would be an older Russwin keyway.

N21 is an old Corbin Russwin keyway which became "inactive" in 1993.

You would not be able to obtain new cylinders in that keyway.

Your best bet to find a cylinder would be to search e-Bay.
