Actually that isn't a bad idea. The biggest problem with a fire safe is they are some of the easiest safes to open around. Placing one inside this safe
should help a great deal with that problem. A lot of companies are now integrating the two safe types into one new style called a Burglary/Fire safe.
Interesting about the wallboard, I have seen several gun safes that share a 20 minute fire rating that will have a piece of wallboard behind the front
door panel. I don't know how or if the bodies of these 20 minute safes are lined, or if they are at all. 20 minutes isn't a lot of time for a fire to burn out
