High this is michael storie,that appears to be a mosler safe will get some more info for you.

High michael storie again,that safe is a herman lug door with 6730 sargent and greenleaf lock,depending on serial number probably made in the fifties or sixties,hope that helps very nice.

My records show M6730, Also the first couple numbers of the serial number are the DOM.

Thanks for the info, Kinda figured the first two numbers of the serial were the manufacture date. I looked up the 6730M it would be suited to this safe. Don't think that version was available in 1951 though.

The lock was made especially for Hermann the body was a bit different and fitting another lock to it may prove difficult. I know they made that lock in 1952, so I believe they most likely made it in '51 also.
