Chubb document safe

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

Chubb document safe

Postby Betabiker » 13 Apr 2016 12:28

Hi, i am trying to find a replacement lock for an old Chubb document safe. There is a serial number of 7704 on the inside of the door. I bought the safe with a non working lock for a registered charity that I work for. I could provide pictures of the safe and lock. Am I on a wild goose chase trying to get this safe working again, or is there always replacement locks available? Any help / advice / pointing in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Steve

posting a pic will help other give you an better answer, but my gut feeling is that yes you can get a replacement lock (you can get replacement locks for most things if you know where to look)
