Centurion deposit Corp safe

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

You are posting this in This Old Safe, a public area of the forum.

Safe manipulation discussion is allowed, but safe drilling or other destructive entry is only allowed in the Advanced - Safes and Safe Locks area.

If you are a guest of the forum and have a safe you need to open, but you do not have the combination, we cannot tell you how or where to drill it.

Recently acquired this safe from a storage facility. I do not have the combination and it appears to be empty. I would love to be able to use it but have zero experience with safe cracking. I plan to drill a hole in the back in order to access the back of the wheel pack but I haven’t been able to find any info or pictures. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Moving this from "Ask beginner lockpicking questions" to "This Old Safe"

Unfortunately, we do not teach the public where/how to drill safes or crack their combinations or using methods such as scoping the change key hole. That info can far too easily be used by someone trying to break into someone's safe and while we can be helpful and help you, someone else will come along and read the posts and learn how to do it to someone else's safe.

We are more than happy to help you with basic troubleshooting if a loved one died for example and left the combination scribbled on a piece of paper but you are not sure how to turn the dial in which direction in order to open it.

I will say that youtube is very useful for all sorts of things, and videos like this one explain a lot of useful concepts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmLNtiL3UV8

Good luck with your project,

Thank you for the quick response. I understand that it wouldn’t be a great idea to explain how to drill the safe. Probably should have worded my OP better. I plan on entering the safe one way or the other. The advice I was looking for was actually where to find more info or photos on my particular safe. I don’t even know if there is a second door behind the first and would hate to damage it beyond repair by drilling or cutting. If the only way to open is by a locksmith, do I need to get documentation from the storage facility and what should I expect to pay to open it?

I'll send you a private message with some details.
