Mosler 6-B (not B6 as I had been calling it for years)

Ran across a pic from an old Mosler catalog showing variations of the Number 6 lock. Some have a mounting tube, some don't, some have a boss, and some use corner screws to mount the lock to the door.

I had it stuck in my head that this was the B6 model, but based on their other models like the 10 1/2 and the 5-H , 6-B makes a lot more sense!

Hey Squelchtone, Is there a date of print in that catalog? Mosler bought the Northern Bank of Kentucky building in Covington in 1918 and moved the production of locks and time locks there. Could you also post the pictures of the 5H that are in that great catalog?

An update per recent documents shared by a new member shows that the lock is listed as a B-6 on Mosler printed instructions that were included with a safe.

I think there is both. B6 should be one of the flipper fence locks and the 6 with a letter afterwards is like a 5, but the fence is pushed with a spring loaded pin instead of friction. There should be two CPs on both locks.

I think you're right that both models exist.
