Large Victor Patent Safe

Good morning!

We have an old safe at work that was closed in 1988 as a time capsule. Due to administration changes over the years, it was never opened and the combination was misplaced. I’m looking for information on the type of safe it is. And if there are recommendations on a nearby locksmith with experience manipulating these safes open without damaging it.

Hi, the lock is likely a Yale L-2 with three wheels. The safe and vault tech's organization has a list of techs at http://www.savta.org/savta_tech.php . Around 11 have listed "manipulation" as there service, but I guess there are more. So you should ask the techs nearby if they offer this.
