Hello, My name is Steven, and I live in Arizona. Yes, I bought this safe on Craigslist for $200, intending to use it in my storage building for stuff. But it’s SO heavy that there’s no way I can move it to get it through the door. Really, might should not have gotten it, as it’s overkill. So, going to sell it on Ebay? Would like to know: 1. Fire Rating 2. Tool Rating 3. Value, as in how much to list it for The dimensions of the safe are: Width=20-3/4 inches Height from floor to top edge=20 inches Depth from front to back=18 inches Serial Number: 24254-27 (from your chart it seems to be from 1975) On the UL label it has: BP-280, Plant 2, No. A344791 Thank you SO much for whatever information you might have, and the time you may take to convey it. I really appreciate it. I've got that same model of safe. They are truly unreasonably heavy for their size. Mine has a Group 1R Mosler lock in it. Presumably yours does as well. My understanding is that these don't have a fire rating, being just solid blocks of steel. The BP280 burglary rating is based on the construction and not based on a timed tool test. Your potential buyer is either a safe enthusiast, or someone who wants to store a handgun **securely** and knows enough to differentiate a real safe from a 'gun safe'. Potentially you might find a cash business wanting something like that. The $200 you paid for it is what you could reasonably expect to get from craiglist or Facebook. You may get $500 if you hold out for the guy who knows the difference between a Residental Security Container and a real safe, and who doesn't mind the weight. These are my observations as a hobbiest who dabbles in buying and selling them.

Gee, I wonder if there's a guy in the Oro Valley area that would be interested in your safe. After all, it's not a Sentry.

This is a Mosler new style lug door safe. The UL label is not a burglary rating. It is just a confirmation that a relocking device is installed inside the safe's door. Other safes of this style come with mercantile, SNMA and UL burglary ratings. The TRTL-30 rated are a pain to open. I am sure Mosler left out some parts as it doesn't have rating, but even normal steel an a thinner Relsom hard plate is night and day compared to a residential security container.

Do these have relsom plate in them? (Tungsten carbide chips in a steel matrix = bit breaker)

The TRTL-30 new style lug door safes did have Relsom. This ... no idea.
