the hall's safe kinsey rainier

Forgot how to dial the combination on that old safe? Think you got the right numbers but the handle is stuck? What safe should you buy? Ask your safe questions here!

I have one of these in my basement, don't have the combo. How can I open it, and how much is it worth?

Hold your monitor up to the front of the safe.

Hmm. Can’t see it. Move it a bit closer. Nope, try further back. Well that’s not working.

How about you post some pictures instead of having us make wild guesses. Your question is like calling a mechanic and saying “my Chevrolet isn’t running right. What’s wrong with it, and how much is it worth?”

As for how to open it, contact a safe tech.

Too much effort, I'll just scrap it. Thanks anyway

Wait, it's too much effort to post a photo to a forum so we can help you with actual advice for the make and model of safe you have or too much effort to call a safe technician?

Did you think we would just tell you to turn the dial left 4 times and tap your foot 2 times and the safe would be open? It's not that easy.

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it on craigslist. if it is locked usually $100 tops unless it has a flawless paintjob and someone want a $500 dollar side table in their man cave.

good luck

Safes, even when the combination is known, can be very difficult to get rid of - even for free. It all comes down to the size and whether someone is willing to move it. On several occasions I have been offered free TL-rated safes, combination known, worth a few thousand bucks new, and each time I end up having to pass because I don't have a good way to move a 700+ lb safe across town and up and down stairs. Best of luck.
