Major safe

We bought a house and found a Major Safe hidden inside the bathroom vanity. The dial has been broken off. The previous owner said they tried to open it with no luck and that the original owners husband when in his 50’s and that she had never been able to open the safe either supposedly. So how would one be able to get this safe open by drilling? Any help any one could supply would be greatly appreciated. We live in a small rural town in Iowa so no big safe company’s around.

I don’t see a way to upload a photo of it. I will gladly share one of the safe. It does have the model and serial number this house was built in 1998 so I assume it was put in when the house was built.
