Can someone tell me about change keys.

… are they collectible?
… what is the significance of the different size keys (they all look the same on the end)?
… is there a list showing what a complete set might look like?

Anything else I should ask about?

Older/rare change keys are collectable

Different shape/sized change keys work in different safe locks

This is a set of replacement change keys for a popular change key tool

https://www.keedex.com/products/safe-pr ... ent-parts/

It's not easy to see in the picture but the change keys are different.
Some are square in shape, others are triangular, or rounded, even the change keys that are square have cut outs in the shaft in different places to activate some locks (4 wheel change keys are longer than three wheel)

There are three keys pictured that appear to be the same. One of them has a number punched onto the handle. It appears similar to the number punched off bro the top of a Diebold Anti-Dynamite lock.

Are the numbers important?

No. Someone who sold me some locks (out of Iowa) found these and just mailed them to me. She knew they were change keys so figured I might want them.

Mark Bates' Modern Safe Locks has a few pages with change keys. The only similar there is the Amsec Star safe S&G wheel change key, which looks like the one bottom left. Mosler has some key changeable locks with drive cam in front where the change key must not pass through W3 and therefore has no tip.
