help someone is breaking in

Thinking of upgrading your door security? Getting a better deadbolt or padlock? Getting a new frame or better hinges? Not sure what brand or model to go with for your particular application? Need a recommendation? Feel free to ask for advice here!

Sounds pretty bad, but without pictures it's hard to really give any good advice. From the overall impression, though, I'd recommend you check out loxapine (pronounced "locks-a-pin") to see if that helps.

on one hand somebody could be in real danger, the first responses tend to be sympathetic to that.
Bravo for being such helpful people

Suddenly the conversation shifted and paranoia seems like the other hand. Either way we should be sympathetic.

If somebody is tampering with your locks and your home, I suggest, you get the strongest locks possible at the very least, If it was me . I would move somewhere else under these circumstances.

If this kind of thing seems to follow you around. I suggest talking to somebody you trust, a family member, or good friend. somebody that would never hurt you. Then ask them what you should do. Take that advice. It's hard for us to determine what is going on. We need pictures, and descriptions and more pictures. Even then, we aren't police. This is a job best suited for them.

If you are seriously in trouble call the police, Most of them are good people. Ask for one that has dealt with a situation similar to yours before.

For the people making jokes about paranoia and other symptoms of mental illness . I suggest watching this. I struggle with depression and anxiety amongst other mental issues and would kindly appreciate overall tolerance.

Sorry if I upset anybody, just had to get that out.

Edit :Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be preachy, in fact, I found some of the wordplay and jokes funny. I just wish more empathy was attached to said jokes.

When the door is open it will fall down and you'll know whether someone is really getting in and around what time. You might want to watch "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" for that. Also, an alarm system with infrared sensors will pretty well sort everything out for you.

For the record, I was serious about using a little toothpick or wedge as an indicator of someone entering your home. Just a pine needle or something works great. Also, it would have to be pretty elaborate for someone to get past an infrared alarm, to my understanding.

helpme help me help you, by helping yourself.

This is the round about information blackhole you are creating. Either post pictures, be more detailed, Not about your fighting skills but your actual problem, or forever be ignored on this forum.

My apologies for assuming I am speaking for the majority.

4 watts isn't enough.. I'd say to disrupt a Ferengi freighters' shields you need at least 4^42 watts of magnets in a fixed BiAxial array.

Lol

My post was serious b.t.w, it wasn't a joke. If you could fight off men well, you will probably have the agility to commence a rooftop chase. Has anything else happened to you since you posted this?

Hmm, we watched this in a Psych course i had.

Why would you wish something would happen? Isn't that bad? Seriously though, the best option for you, which i cannot understand why you haven't done this, is call the popo. Give 911 a call (or 999 if you live in U.K). This will 100% solve your problem, you might not even need to update your lock and waste so much money.

I would recommend thicker aluminum foil for your protective head dress...

The men who come in the white coats in the unmarked van will take you to a happy safe place free of the vanishing burglars who didn't steal anything...

If you are actually experiencing unauthorized entries, it is potentially a bored employee of your landlord and you can install any lock you want but will still have to provide the landlord with a copy of the key which won't shut out that type of entrant... A cheapo USB camera set up on your one door which will e-mail you a picture of everyone coming in your apartment will help you more than installing an expensive lock...

I wonder how you could afford an expensive lock or a camera and the internet service for it if you are living in subsidized housing and receiving SNAP benefits though...

@helpme007:
Welcome to the forum! I hope you stick around, I have certainly learned a lot while I have been here. Now that I think of it my first post here was about beefing up my locks, I'm glad I stuck around as I have learned quite a bit from the members here  .
