Unpickable lock for Job Box / Gang Box

If somebody really wanted in couldn't they just cut in the crease of the box and cut the latches off of the lid? But then again if that isn't a concern then no worries!

my advice would be to make the quality of the lock match the quality of the box..

if you can use a 4' crowbar to open the box in about 2 mins, then a top quality lock is not much of a deterrent.

Hey there,

Looks like you've got a bunch of good advice already, but I worked for a contractor for a couple years, and he kept his safe by welding a steel box over the keyway that would not permit a thief to drill it out, only leaving enough room to fit a key in. Also, chain it to something and get a good lock for that. Otherwise the entire thing will disappear.
One can atone for occasionally being a little under-dressed by always being immensely over-educated.
