Front door internal lock

Front door internal lock

Postby chris667 » 4 Jul 2015 11:25

Hello again.

I am going for the Cisa 3 point lock on the back door. I thought long and hard about it and decided the chance of its being picked are fairly slim; a would-be burglar would try to force the door, and I think that with a Birmingham bar over the hinges the Cisa is a solid option.

The front door is slightly more conventional. It has an old fashioned rim night latch and a tower bolt.

The stiles of this door are only 67mm wide. I am having trouble finding a suitable lock to mortice into it. I don't need to open this from the outside, so I was wondering what the forum thought of two of these in the top and bottom of the door?
