Amazon cheap locks...?

Postby Lookingforalock » 2 Jul 2018 15:29

Hi All,

Having looked through amazon and this forum looking for the perfect lock I have found one for a price on amazon that I can spend at the moment.

I am after advice on how long this specific lock here:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Padlock-Garage ... B00C1SDCZ4

might hold up to an attack from a grinder or lock picker or hammer smashing hooligan?

It is being used to hold two bits of chain together connected to a ground anchor which is subsequently wrapped around the front axle of my car.

Please offer any other suggestions of locks that are from £10 - £35 available in the UK that might be a better bet if you have any! It will need to have a shackle large enough to fit round a 1cm diameter chain :)

Thanks for the help!!

According to a couple of the reviews if it gets wet it doesn't work as well.
