confused about electronic locks

Thinking of upgrading your door security? Getting a better deadbolt or padlock? Getting a new frame or better hinges? Not sure what brand or model to go with for your particular application? Need a recommendation? Feel free to ask for advice here!

confused about electronic locks

I am also looking for electronic lock but confuse about the usability. How can we install electronic lock ? Is it safe? these types of questions came on my mind.

Depends on the Keypad/Lock, Some Keypads also contain the switching, of Strikes, Maglocks, Electric Bolts, etc.
With these, Keypad could be removed, jump a couple spots, and it's open. Most Wired Electric Gates have this Vulnerability, The Lock (usually easily picked is the Security)
I will show customers the weakness of their Locks, try to convince them of Electronics Security(Alarm System, Cameras....)
Tampering of Keypad Removal is a Must.

I split this thread from the thread you posted to. Your own thread makes more sense because you have different questions than the other person had.

Have you consulted a local locksmith in your city? They would install it for you.

Is this lock for home or business?

How are you confused about usability?

Which country are you in? Not all types of locks are available in every country and some doors and frames are "prepped" differently to accept different types of locks.
