When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

hi y'all, i was just looking at the mark francis picks here www.lockpick-tools.co.uk as im looking to invest in one ... and the write up says they do a fair old majority of curtain locks, has anyone used any in the range ? .. i really like the idea of the "triple" curtain pick, but does it do what it says on the tin ? thanks folks

It is suposed to be quite good and does do what its suggested it will do but i havent played with one yet but you do need to practice a lot before you are any good with any curtain pick.

if it opens all the locks claimed, then its value for money, it has a 5g , 6g and 7g head, you will only find 1 or 2 6g locks, very rare like 8g locks, the 7g is good for profit, and new securefast locks though you need a much longer wire to defeat the new securefast lock, the 5g head is the most used.

i dont know if its been modified to deal with the new fortress lock from era, the cb pick has been and picks the fortress lock, but as i dont have a triple pick i cannot pass much in the way of comment on its use and effectiveness.
though marks tools have come along way since his 1st thumb pick design and offer vast improvement and value if they perform as claimed.
