OK so after my failed attempted with the Bar-B-Q Skewers I had my tools out so I made these.

I'm not happy with the snowman/double ball so I'm going to redo that one
Got a few more blanks so I might make some more picks for it, not sure as its got all the picks I like.

Feedback welcome & appreciated

Just turn that double ball into a single ball and your all sorted.

Yeah I was actually thinking about that, but grinding the bottom ball off rather than the top one.

Anyone got any tips on making balls?

Good luck keeping it round... I guess just take it slowly and it's smooth sailing really.

Picks look too big for UK locks, but if they work that's all that matters. :)

I'm still basing them on the template posted by mouse, the only one that dont fit in the locks at my house is the deep hook, a little TOO deep so I'm going make a gentler curved one

Pick number 1 (rake? Bump key? anyone??) is GREAT I love it
Pick number 2 is pretty nice to use too, but I think I'm going to round the edges a bit.

illusion: What do you mean by too big? shaft width? if so what width/size do you recomend? the half diamond shaft starts at 4mm and tapers to 2mm before the diamond which is 4mm high by 4mm long.

Nice looking picks :) and I had a bugger of a time doing the double ball as well, I used a diamond coated cutting wheel to do it.
