It's a pin vice with spring loaded rotary handle. The spring is meant to retract the handle to the rest position. The handle is pushed forward to spin the head, and slid back to repeat.
I'm wondering if a little modification to this device could make it a formidable plug spinner. Put the spring behind the handle, pull back and release, allowing it to snap forward and spin quickly. Any thoughts?
Well, I don't think the spring would be forceful enough to do this thing. Maybe you could get it to work with a stronger spring.
That is a really cool thing, though. It is exactly what I have been looking for for quite some time. I wonder if and where I can get one of these things in Germany. This makes a wonderful handle for my set of wiper blade mini-picks.
