first picks I made

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Youve made a very good effort there, have you picked any locks with them yet?

I can do some locks but I have the most problems with my master lock 3 i sill cant pick that one.

very nice first set indeed! the hook looks a little too large though. You might want to try making the hook a little smaller and straighter, will work more locks better. You probably find that it gets stuck a lot now. Shorting it and straightening it a bit will work wonders!

Thanks for the advice, but ive not had much luck on a lot of locks. I think i'm going to buy a real set soon.

I get amazing feed back from this pick (despite the radius). I've made a couple more with a slightly more angled hook, ever so slightly, but this one seems to work best for me.

You don't have to make yours this small, but at least you get the idea, I'd call yours a large hook. I prefer small and medium hooks.
