the time has come UWSDWF said to talk of many things

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

of picks and wrentches and other odd things...

well i got some bucks to spend thinking of another pickset...

suggestions? i have a few different types right now, i'm enjoying petersons... but it's time for something different.

lockpicks.com is where i'm looking to buy (LPS and I had a falling out, I refuse to buy there anymore.)

Suggestions?

I would get the Dino 18pc Navagater set and the Majestic High Tech set.

I have the Dino and I'm not crazy about the cheap nickle plating, but other then that it's a good set with a good viarity of hooks and some specialty picks too. And as you know we've heard nothing but good things about the high tech pick set.

If money is no object I'd also get a Falle Set or the Southern Specialty Falle clones.

I'd look to expand my variety.

btw, southern specialties has good service too.

Yeah, try some Navigators or some HPC's if you haven't already. If that's not what you're looking for, well, yeah the only good option left is the Falle-Safes. I'd like to add that if you don't already have LSS, then THAT would be the best investment you could make by FAR (the $230 book version of LSS, not the software, and make sure to order from security.org). The falle-safes are great, but they're still just tools and simply can't compare in utility and value to the knowledge you'd gain from LSS.

speaking of feed back, believe it or not I get excellent feed back from a cheap Majestic pick set! The shapes and styles of the picks are very similar to HPC, a little thinner, and the aluminum handles are paper light and provide a good enough grip. The craftsmenship of the handles are not as good as HPC's, you can see it doesn't line up as perfectly, BUT Excellent feed back!
