When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Eddie's Iron

Postby pickmonger » 7 Dec 2006 6:47

I own the book and enjoyed reading it. Most people think the book is TRASH.

Eddie gives his version of the history and theory on the development of a style of curved lock pick, much like those sold by John Falle.

It will explain how to create a curved lockpick and how to fine tune it to a given lock.

This style of lockpick can be very useful in trained hands, most would argue that you don't need a book to tell you how to make a curved pick.

What next...... written instructions on how to use toilet paper.

I've noticed this is a theme in a number of his books. Does anyone really put it into practice?
