maybe time for a new pickset? what should I get?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

maybe time for a new pickset? what should I get?

Hey. I am thinking that maybe I want a new pickset. I currently have picks from www.lockpicks.com with the rubber grips over them. I think I want some picks without rubber grips as to increase feedback.

lockpicktools.com looks nice, and they have a variety of handle, standard, which i won't get, ripple, laminated, laminated ripple, and core laminted ripple. I am thinking just get all 15 and some wrenches. 1st off I would have to sell my current set. I think I could get like 15 bucks for it maybe. IDK.

But anyway, what handles should I get? The ripples look nice and cheap, but I don't know how good they are. The laminated ripple and lamnited ripple core look basically the same and the core ones are 50 cents more a pick. And if I were to get the laminated handles. I would get them from lockpickshop.com because of the 10% discount AND the fact that they have slimline picks that have some cool heads on them that you can't get in standard.

So...what handles should I get? I don't want to spend 1000 dollars on this, but don't want it to be crap. Any suggestions or anything? Also this may not happen, I am just thinking about it and window shopping before I actually do this or not.
