wiper blades? and ripple handle picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

wiper blades? and ripple handle picks

Postby elbarto » 2 Oct 2007 8:26

Hi all,
Just wanted to ask some of the aussies who are picking if you can still get wiper blades with the steel strip in them? I changed my wiper blades this weekend as i figgured it was as a good excuse to get some material to start making up a few on my own tension tools but was disappointed to find that both the old ones and the blades didn't have any steel in them at all.

I have finally been able to get consistant results with single pin picking with a lock i have been useing to learn on (was never able to rake it) and am haveing good success with my SO kit on a few other pin tumblers i have laying around so i figured i would make myself a few tension tools instead of buying them. I also want to get a few more hook picks as now that i can SPP to some extent i find it much better then raking,

I was thinking about getting some laminated ripple core handle picks from the lockpickshop http://www.lockpicktools.com/lockpicks.htm to add to my kit as those handles look pretty comfortable. Im sure there has been discusion on these before but i cant get the search function to work for me. anybody else had this problem lately?

plastic

yep, some of them have those plastic stiffeners, I have a plastic piece that could possibly be made to fit a Bi Lock, if part of it is cut away. maybe the basis for some kind of pick.
Wake up and smell the Kafka!!!
