Totally. I just recently sanded my Peterson picks with a 2000 grit sandpaper and it does perform a little better, by say about 10-20%. Not a HUGE improvement that I always hear about but still glad I did it. Plus it is easily more identifiable so no one can "borrow" my picks at work and then claim that it's their pick and that I must have lost mines.
