Quick Q on ward picks..

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Quick Q on ward picks..

Postby WDPaladin » 13 Nov 2007 23:18

Do they come with a hole predrilled down the front of the shaft? As in perpendicular to the wards on the side than enters the keyway?

Thanks in advance, peace.

I'm not sure you understand the use of warded picks, as there is no need for any holes in it, except for perhaps one on the head so they can be conveniently stored on a key ring.

Sorry, this must be my fault for not describing this correctly.. Ok, I know these cuffs are outdated (yes, by a couple hundred years), but check out the image below; see the pin extending from the center of where the pick would be inserted? I'm wondering if the warded picks have a hole for that pin to enter into or if they are just flat. From what I've seen they are just flat, but then how would you get around wards like that?

Again, any thanks is appreciated, peace..

If a lock is a puzzle, then its key is the complete picture
