Day Planner Pick Case

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Day Planner Pick Case

Postby JK_the_CJer » 9 Feb 2008 17:20

Well, I finally decided to have a go at making a pick case. My Peterson case's zipper broke and its too small. My little zip-up canvas bag keeps things to loose and disorganized. So this is my solution:

I'm making this case from a largish zippable day planner. It will be an ongoing project and I'll continue to add pockets and more pages to hold picks. But, I can't see running out of either space or organizational flexibility. And I can throw my picks in there and zip it up without worrying about loss, etc... I'll try to post periodic updates, but I have a feeling this will take a while. I'm sewing leather by hand, after all :-) Lemme know what you guys think and any tips, pocket ideas, etc...

Pretty good idea if you ask me. I've made my own cases in the past, and I know working with leather is sometimes a pain in the butt. I wish I had the patience to make something like that...
