foley-belsaw delux pickset

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

foley-belsaw delux pickset

i got the foley-belsaw pickset for christmas. the downside is they charged me 37 bucks.

after that i opend the package put the picks in the pickcase. the website says this kit comes with 16 picks, it came with 11 4 tension tools and this saw thing, the picks seemed nice, 4 of them came with reinforced handels. i expected some sort of verity

heres what i got
3 small diamonds 1 with reinforced handel
1 snowman (reinforced)
2snakes 1 reinforced
2 double sided camelback/small diamond picks
2 hooks 1 reinforced

i am not very pleased. theese picks are so tiney, ill post picks later, but they are just outragously tiney, in the picture the set shows with a speciel L shaped tension wrenched with the 2 bends, that was not included. it shows some rakes in the picture. none were included.

source: http://www.foley-belsaw.com/locksmithingCatalog.html half way down. ill keep the nice case. im going with lockpicktools.com or lockpicks.com from now on.

You will find that most commercial picks are that size, they hold up fine too.

Look at the way this is written. I can see where you expected 16 picks, it's written kinda tricky. You got everything the set is supposed to have. It's a 16 piece kit that includes picks, tension tools, and extractors.

Deluxe Pick Set
$37.95
This handy pick assortment contains 16 picks, tension tools and extractors. Each pick is made of hard finished clock spring steel tempered to the correct degree of hardness.

Sand your HPC picks. SAND them until they are smooth!. Sometimes small picks are better josh, they let you get into those small little places that big picks cant. Just be careful with your HPC picks, I have a whole box of broken ones... but im not very careful like you will be.

User qwert sounds like a spammer advertiser. Fast nick, no details, short message including a link and as a first post.

I've been using HPC Picks for as long as i've been in the industry. Well worth it, when you clean them up a bit like doug said. I've slightly modified mine, and i've also got a Majestic deep reach, so i basically have 3 varying hook sizes.

Also, keep in mind, HPC doesn't specify much between 'rake' types.

Southord's designs are pretty similar, so i'll use this to make my point.
