just purchased some double sided disc tumbler picks didn't get any info with them. do you use them without a tension wrench and insert the pick into the lock and waddle it as you turn?

you still need tension , always remember its the tension thats crucial to opening any lock.
its only a personal thing but i do best with the tnt21 tension ring with these picks

tried using them on my gararge door lock but the picks are not long enough can you file them down to make them reach all the wafes,
any help in using these picks would be help full.

if they are the ones with the slot up the middle they are for camlocks.
and yes you jiggle them
