Macguyver and lockpicks.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Macguyver and lockpicks.

Alright, there was this one Macguyver episode where he got locked up into an insane asylum and he made lockpicking tools with a lightbulb. Does anyone think they could broaden how he did this?

Question...the filament would be too soft, agreed, tungsten is a soft metal...but what about the little pieces of metal that support it? if tied together, they may be kinda stiff? And yeah, I do agree it was hollyweird magic, but just giving some food for thought.

It was a Russian Lever Lock, all becuase Pete only brought ONE set of picks. To bad they screw up his picking sequence as well. Two picks, no tension tool.

Speaking of Tungsten, and to confuse you all :"They found me in a meteor.. I need Tungsten to live...... TUNGSTEN!!"

Haha, you crazy bum...

Did anyone ever think that you could crush a lightbulb and use the metal that that all the components hook into, the threaded metal part. given enough time i'm sure you could tear it into pieces suitable for tension and picking. Maybe somebody should try it.

You ever notice that in Macgyver there only ever seemed to be one of anything. And to top it off they never seemed to learn to brings spares.

I liked the fact that the support wires in the bulb were too thick and Jamie had to use the toecaps of his steel boots as a hammer and anvil to hammer the wire so it was just thin enough to fit the lock. Impressive resourcefulness...
