Do you happen to know what series Diskus lock you have????
You can learn something from everyone you meet if you would just shut up and listen.

Which one is it?
I've picked the 24/60 which was relatively easy but does have some spools in it:

I've seen (and picked) ABUS locks up to 5 spool pins (out of 6 pins), but ABUS sure has locks with less security pins in there..

That one has security pins and a tight key way to make it harder to pick it.
I've looked at this lock as well once, and it looks like it's using the same plug as the 24/60.
Can't really tell how many security pins, but it can be a nice challenge.
It will probably help you a lot to use the slim line picks if you don't already do.
They will allow you more movement in the lock which makes it easier to set the pins without disturbing other pins.

If the keyway is that smaller yale profile, the smaller thin shaft bogota rakes open them if you know how to use them in a quick loose jiggle.
you can make your own from sweeper bristle. look in the stickies in lockpicks manual forum for a tutorial :)
