Street Sweeper Bristles/Change in Pick Materials

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Street Sweeper Bristles/Change in Pick Materials

Postby rabidsquire2 » 20 May 2009 23:28

I am very interested in trying to craft a number of picks from street sweeper bristles, but at present time, do not know where to get enough for trial and error in my crafting experiences. I was wondering if anyone could link me the URL to somewhere where I could buy such bristles in bulk, or if anyone has an excess of bristles possibly contact me so I can discuss the purchase or trade of such bristles. I have been partially successful with hacksaw blades, but I like the design of Bogota picks and street sweeper bristle tension wrenches. I would be grateful for any assistance I could receive in this field. Thanks!!!

Clead is selling brand new ones one the BST forum, not sure if he still has any, though. If not, I can get you some, but mine are not brand new...would probably only charge you for shipping, honestly.

Thank you so much for the information. I have PM'd Clead with an inquiry as to if he still has any bristles left for sale. If it turns out that he does not, I would love to possibly buy some from you, used or new. Thanks again, and I'll contact you when I hear from Clead :)

It was not deleted, it was edited. Your also not allowed to sell items, and this is not the buy sell trade sub-forum. Please see the Buy Sell Trade forum for further information.

To the OP of this thread, take a look around the Buy Sell Trade forum. I have seen two sale threads I believe recently..

Agreed my original post was edited....No Problem, but my reply post was deleted as it is not there now.

"It was not my intention to offer items for sale". I was merely trying to help a fellow picker out. No Worries it won't happen again.
