dude just use the search button search for "homemade picks", or look around this whole section of the forum. theres literally at least 10 topics discussing homemade picks.

Do you have access to either a grinder, files, or a Dremel tool? One of those items, some hacksaw blades, patience, and some lengthy research in this forum and you're all set. We've all been there and done that. This is not intended to be a flame, it's how most of us got started.
