Southern Specialties Convertable 7 & 8 Tubular?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Southern Specialties Convertable 7 & 8 Tubular?

Postby nhoj_yelbom » 15 Apr 2011 11:10

i purchased the klom tubular and im not happy with it, looking at the lockpicktools.com
http://lockpicktools.com/tubular-picks.htm
TP-78 Convertible Pick
Changes from a 7 pin to a 8 pin in less than a minute. The tool comes with extra drive pins, O-rings, 4 extra picking needles, and an extractor ring to remove the drive pins. Why carry 2 tools when this one is all you need!

im very happy with southern specialties products that i have, just wanted input on getting this or the individual 7 and 8 pin southern specialties tubular picks. thanks

I am with ya, I never had any problems with anything I have of there company. I would think that this is a way better value than purchasing both, however you don't run into a load of the 8 pinners, probably depends on where your at though. I looked at the prices of there 7 and 8 pin separately and they seem like a great value when bought separate also.
