My Pocket Pick Kit

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

My Pocket Pick Kit

I put this kit together for portability. The case is from a high-end cigar cutter that I've had for ages and the tools are an assortment of rakes, single pin picks and wrenches. The quarter and padlock are for scale.

The case fits in the coin pocket of my jeans.

That's a really cool on the go setup you have there. I would like to put something together like this one day because the on the go picks I have seen sold online seem to be poor quality. Plus you can customize it any way you want. Did you make these picks? If you did nice work :!:

Thanks, Divinorum. I did not make the picks. The three on the left I cut down from a Southord set with a Dremel. The two in the middle with the serrations on the handles are the ALS Mini Flats and the two on the right with the bend are Titanium Bogotas.

It's an assortment that works for me.

Very nice set , kind of an homage to the old "KGB" set .
But better. :)

I agree nice set, you can't really get a better rake than the bogota's IMO and I can't really see anything missing from your set, maybe a smaller 'half diamond' or a deeper reach hook but that's just personal preference and this looks like an EDC kit rather than a tool shop kit with plug spinners, dimple picks and bypass tools coming out the wazoo

Try putting a Dragon universal tension wrench in there it can be used on a lot of different locks

 The beer opener?

I have a kit of like 40+ picks in my pocket on me at all times. I wouldn't consider it portable because I'm sure it weighs like 1 or 2 pounds, but I'm satisfied knowing I carrying it with me everywhere. I even carry my jigglers on my keychain. (I'm just hoping it doesn't get me in trouble one day. :|

Another cool idea is to put a single hook pick in a ink pen housing and make a removable tension wrench out of the clip holder.
