Noticed something funny about Peterson case.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Noticed something funny about Peterson case.

Well I got an order in from Peterson yesterday and I'm super excited. I ended up with an Eagle's Nest pick set and some other odds and ends. I may do a review later. But I thought this was pretty interesting.

I ordered the Eagle's Nest in government steel. It comes with a worm, a double rake, a gem, a hook 1, a bogota, and a thin bogota. Also two prybars and an assortment of regular tension wrenches. The price is lower than before and it seem like a good assortment of essentials.

The funny part is I ordered another case to go along with it. I opted for the "collector's edition" and I noticed something a bit different with the logo.

One of these things is not like the other. :D

  Love that. Looks like Ken is putting some of his humor into the new products

No doubt he also thought about the lil tweety bird being headless with feathers all over the place

Definitely looks like he is pooping.

Pretty funny to me cause the reason I was ordering from Peterson is many of my current picks are slowly bending.
Care to guess the manufacturer?

Cool, I ordered the reach and long ripple separately. I'm very impressed with the reach and the hook 1. The feedback with the stiff steel is amazing. Much better than my previous picks.

Good luck with your new tools. :D

The Ghost is a good set. I ordered it as an EDC/Backup set primarily because it included the Gem, Hook 1, and Reach. I was pleasantly suprised by how much I liked the Bogie 1 and 2. I don't rake much, but when I do.... well, you get the rest.
-- I have a tendency to write hasp when I mean shackle. It's a bad habit, but I'm working on it one day at a time.

If you find my insistence that you pay me to do something unreasonable, you probably shouldn't be bothering me at work.

Yes I got the set for
1 It has the pry bar lite ( I have the regular one )
2 it has the Gem, Hook 1 , Reach
Like yourself not really into raking but I have the tools if it ever calls for it
