would you qualifer this snake?

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

i am new to the forum, hi!

here is the first pick i made

ive made this pick as my first handmade tool this week, so far so good, worked with 4 pins schlage, weiser and yale, works fine also with basic master padlocks and abus padlock, very difficult with locks over 4 pins tho

What type of picks this resemble more???

um, you may want to look at lock pick templates first, and THEN make a tool, not make a tool, and then hope it resembles one of the common lock pick types..

this tool is very very rough.. no offense, but I'm surprised it opened anything at all.

Loom at these common pick shapes, they should help you refine your pick shapes:
