I was aiming to make the guide for dremel only. I don't see how your first method is any different except that you've swaped a dremel for a grinder.

Sorry. I didn't mean to steal your thunder. I was just offering a different way that people could use if they were making alot of picks and wanted a permanent setup for convenience.
