Peterson Flat 5 Template

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

wiper insert

Much like the one I made, not as pretty as the Peterson but effective. The nail will last forever, I bet. I might make one of those for myself. How did you bend that wiper insert like that?

Maybe I'm a little dull but I don't see the template. I'm wanting to give a go at making a couple of these but can't really nail down the dimensions. Any help here would be really appreciated!

a template isn't always going to be a nice PDF or Autocad file with a scale on the bottom and side of the page or with each part of the pick or wrench having dimensions for each part of the tool.

The picture in the first post has enough info to print it to scale (just print it and put a ruler onto the tape measurer and see if it is spot on or if you need to print using scale + or - a little, and then make some wrenches based on that info. print on label paper and stick the labels onto your stock feelers or whatever you're using as stock, and then file, grind, quench, and sand.
