Printer-Friendly, Sized Down PDF and Powerpoint Templates

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Printer-Friendly, Sized Down PDF and Powerpoint Templates

Ok, so far, I have templates for warded picks, computer generated and high-tech pick sets, so-called magic keys (they look like computer generated picks, only a bit thicker...), southord picks, and some other varied designs I have collected from the internet. I have many more than what you see on these files, but the problem is that they would need to be organized, which will take time. The other issue is that people always ask what each type of pick is used for, and I'd like to include a guide to making picks with the templates, but I just don't have time to write all of that up.

Would someone be willing to submit a summary of what each pick is used for (I know Romstar provided one, but I wanted to ask before using it). If anyone wants to help design this guide/template to make it more comprehensive, I would really appreciate it (I'm sure the rest of the community would, as well). If anyone would like to submit guides to making picks, pick handles, pick cases, or jackknife/pen sets, that would be great as well. I just think this could become a great aid for beginners, and would help in cutting down on the typical "newbie" posts (as well as the "USE THE SEARCH BUTTON" sort of answers  ).

Let me know what you guys think.

Anything of mine that comes from a public forum you can use. PROVIDED that my name remains as the primary source of the information. Maybe a statement that the info was first posted on LP101 on such and such a date, or whatever else strikes you. Just send me a PM and let me know that you are going to use it.

The only restriction to this is anything that I post that is explicitedly forbidden from copying. The new picking guide (that's finally almost done) will be such a document. It will be freely downloadable but will have to remain a complete document.

I am still pissed about the amateur impressioning guide.
