CHRISTMAS CRACKER LOCKS REFUSING TO BE PICKED!

Postby Saberpick » 22 Mar 2005 11:26

Hey, i have a few of those prize crimbo cracker locks lying round, and i had a go at one. i could not work out how it works, or how do open it, and if i apply pressuse with the tention wrench the plug just spins around as far as u can be a***d to turn it (u can do 360 degree spins as much as you like). in the end i got pissed off, ripped off the bottom, and shoved a screwdriver up it and twisted and it opened  . any1 got a better soloution then mine?

usually on very small/crappy locks (luggage, comment box types), I find it easier just to jam the pick up there and not worry about the tension wrench.

They are usually only 3 pin and a half diamond approimates a key enough to pop them in short order.

they work on the same princeple as warded locks. get a hook pick and fish about for the lever when you find it just push it and the lock will pop open you dont need a tension bar with that type of lock
