raimundos ergonomics

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

raimundos ergonomics

!!WOW!! i know there's a lot of threads about raimundos bogotas and stuff. I'm very impressed. The ergonomic handle i saw in a custom ordered set, and noticed it on the how to documents just once at the very end. what a great idea. i'm definately going to steal my brother's dremel and make a set of these. or many sets of these.
yeah. sorry if there was another thread this could have been added to. just really wanted to share my appreciation for raimundo's creations

Hi Savior

Bogotas can be a lot of fun to make, and they are very useful for developing your pick-making skills. I learned a lot off the first set I made.

One thing I found was that the chainsaw file size can vary from country to country, The 4mm / 5/32nds I bought was definitely too small for the bogota I made.

Apart from that I found Raimundo's notes really easy to follow.
If you and I keep practising maybe we'll be as good as Raimundo in three or four years time! :D :D :D
Best of luck with your pick making.
regards s.b.

I think it took raimundo more than 3-4 years to develop his skills. In other posts, he has described his background as a jeweler. The craftsmanship and finish on his implements shows this.
