Advice for lockpicking students.

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Very interesting. I actually just came across $100 I wasn't expecting (sold most of a SUITCASE full of textbooks that have been building up for about 2 years--those who have been in college are probably familiar with this time-honored technique of scrounging for old texts to sell when one is a wee short on cash--not that that ever happens... ).

So in addition to the Bogotas I just sent off for today I was thinking some standard picks would be good too, hence my post here in Manual Picks about HPCs vs. Navigators, as those two seemed to be the overriding favorites in the only post I could find comparing the various brands, with Petersons and Rytans coming in behind them. Any opinions would be welcome!

I just thought the Bogotas were pretty much a raking tool, and I felt like I needed some quality picks to go at it pin-by-pin as well. I think I heard somewhere that Raimundo also does picks besides Bogotas, yes? What kind? Anyone know if he'll do some Falle copies  :D 8) ?

wow, that's really cool. I remember looking at their jackknife tool as several people mentioned it as being the best of that type, but I didn't know they had all those other picks. Can anyone comment on their quality?
