The flux capacitor

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

The flux capacitor

Wrenchman: That was the day I invented lockpicks. I remember it vividly. I was standing on the edge of my toilet hanging a clock, the porcelain was wet, I slipped, hit my head on the edge of the sink. And when I came to, I had a revelation, a picture, a picture in my head, a picture of this. This is what makes lockpicking possible.

Can you see it ? Here is a vegetable/butter knife, with a very nice handle.
You just turn it in to any kind of pick you want  :D
Slides right into the lock 8)
Before you pick a lock:
The first thing that you should do is check to make sure that
the lock is your's and secondly make sure its not in use.

Hehehe... Romstar had this idea a while ago - if you search you will find a/some photo/s of them.

Whether this was a joke or not you raised a relevant idea. :)

I can't remember how he rated them, but it has been done I assure you. :)

Proper butter knives are ok, filler/putty knifes are also a good source as well, table knives are to thick normally.

My sister-in-laws fiancee works at a camping/disposals store and gave me about 30 knives out of some old school cutlery kits. They make excellent picks. Perfect handles, a blade just thicker than a hacksaw blade to mould a pick head from. :)

Some things may be pick proof, but everything can be bypassed....

The handle does´nt really work as supposed to, because you want your fingers to be close to the lock, but it´s there, so be it!

Well, you could make the pick close to the handle, but... This, gives you like three chances, should it break, or when you get tired of it, or even when your skills develop, and you can make a pro pick.

I made the pick with a sharp edge at first, and tryed it, but with no luck, then I rounded off the top, and now it´s much better, the lock opens in a sec.

If it is too thick, you can file gently on each side! (but it´s not)

i think you might be onto something here.Sounds like a good idea,DOES need some sanding, but other than that it may be worth a try.Good thinking, exept that you thought about it when you were unconcious.

It slices, dises, cuts, chops, spreads, picks, rakes, and has hardwearing wooden handle. The new Wrenchman thing-a-ma-bob order yours today and get free, bogata-Waffle iron: make waffles, pancakes, burn family members hands, bludgeon burglers and/or salesmen and pick locks while waiting for breakfast.

 You guys remember those "Ginsu" knives that could cut through a Chrysler and still shave the hair off your arse? That would make one heck of a pick :)
