Tshock's 2 minute or less DIY plug spinner

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

ok ill make one

Postby raimundo » 12 Feb 2007 14:01

I never used a spinner, known that they exist for like 30 years, have had locks pick anti clockwise easy and not so easy in the more useful direction, but I always just ended up picking clockwise though it took more time, but now Im gonna make one, its middle of winter and looks like an in house project,
Some of those pictured have some square edges on the winder, thats why blood is spilled, those edges could be rounded and sanded and then they would still give a spanking but not so much laceration.
Comtech made his out of hard cheese, Parmesan is it?
is it possible to make this with interchangeable blades? a wide blade made of wide windshield wiper stock, and a smaller one, or a thing like a split tensor with a top and bottom of keyway grip, or a very short top of keyway version only? Im gonna find out.
excellent design, tshock, you got my vote in the next inventors poll. :D
I actually hadn't looked at this thread before, maybe I was waiting for it to go to 8 pages  Thanks for the design t man

the one I made is useful for one direction, that being anticlockwise, as the arm of the spring that pushes the blade is attached in that direction. I have been thinking about making one for clockwise, and I have been looking at the spring from a clothespin to make it, there is less coil and a harder pressure, I would like to make it _ and place it in the keyhole then trigger a release, this should not be difficult to do, but I have temporarily lost that clothes pin spring I was looking at. the concept includes a wooden mount that holds it in place and would contain the triggering devise as well, Im just looking for the right found items,

That said, this should be the year when t shock wins the innovative devise vote I think, eh, how about it moderators?

Didn't he already win a poll on that paticular device last year?

I looked for the thread but did not find it. I'll keep looking.

No, someone put my bogotas in the contest and I won, but I support the Idea that Tshock should win this year.

Now I don't know exactly what I posted, in that one above the last one I posted, it got moderated, sometimes I get typos that were not there when I submitted the post, I think this is that some of the data packets are messed with and a letter changes, or is deleted. maybe its the bush junta screwing with all the internet traffic. :?

That's right!

It may have been neck to neck in the poll but you got it instead. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

Spinner Tool

Postby redravensc1 » 12 Jun 2007 18:35

Funny you should ask. I am making one now that works in both directions. As soon as I get finished, I will post it for suggestions.
