Home equipment picks

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

That was a very composed flame Shrub. Self-restraint was evident.

Some things may be pick proof, but everything can be bypassed....

Its a good job the edits arent seen

Im trying to stop flaming altogether but theres always going to be one that will try my patience, Jason unfortunatley has tryed it and worn it out.

Im no angel and would love to sort him out until he is a good picker but he obviously just cant pick it up, i dont want him to leave but rather read the site before posting again, unfortunatley looking at his recent post i dont think the above post seems to have worked

Still these things are sent to try us i suppose.

I'm desperately holding onto the sentimental side, and thinking that maybe - just maybe jason could turn out to be a decent picker, and just need a bit more guidance... It would be like us rejecting the next Barry Wells if we turn down true tallent.

Jason: listen to what Shrub said - it is extreme, and direct, but very true.
You sound like you have a long way to go, and my only advice to you is to just wait for your picking board and picks to arrive and learn to pick.

Keep at it, because it seems hard at first, but you'll get it quickly if you keep practicing.

Each time you don't succeed, but feel you get further don't say "I am useless I can't do this" say: "I have just improved, soon I will have this lock opened."

Never give up, and just keep at it - do you want to be able to pick locks? if the answer is yes then get your butt down in a chair, and practice with a positive attitude, and wish to suceed. IF YOU WANT IT, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS MAKE AN EFFORT"

Once you can pick a lock come back to this site, and you will be a valuable member in the long run perhaps...

At the moment you really need to be practicing not posting on this site.

Read the MIT guide and practice, each time you try you get a little further - each failure is a step to success.

We want to help you mate, but you need to meet everybody here half way - learn to pick and it will all make more sense (well most anyway)

It's down to you - you have the power, and if you really want to pick locks then there is nothing stopping you - well a few things but nothing natural :P

now get practicing mate... I want to see a post by you sometime soon that says: "I just picked my first lock"

You know what to do now, it's up to you wether you do it or not.

Please consider this :)
