Ordered some Petersons

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

I just got my peterson set last week, I picked up "The City" set, and one of the slender gem picks.

talk about flexible =)

Has anyone used the reach pick that they make? I was considering getting one if I make another order.

now i find out.... hehe.... ah well...

I like the gem pick the most so far, but I haven't had much time to play around with them yet.

I like that Peterson "City" set and may just have to get one down the road so that I can carry picks on me at all times, and also to have rubber handled backups of the some of the picks that I already have (kicks self for not paying the extra few bucks to get the larger "just picks" set).

chrometsuba, where did you order your "City" set? From Peteron directly? I didn't see that set at lockpicks.com where I got my picks and case.

I agree with skold, the reach should be the next pick you get from Peterson, it is excellent on many tight keyways.

i find the slender gem is pretty decent on the only tight keyway i have, its a small padlock with a nasty keyway. maybe ill make one from the templates =)

I ordered mine from peterson directly. They are great guys to deal with. The city case is a tad small for all the picks to fit in, but im also stuffing an extra tension wrench in, an old southord hook that i like, and the slender... its just at its limit for fitting all that in there... =)

does anyone have the smaller lambskin case they sell? if so, how big is it folded up?
