On the stepped tension, as you know from another thread I been playing around with a Universal tension, but with out steps, just tapered. I've tried the steps and it is a solid design but limits the number of key ways I can use it on. With a stepless tapered wrench, double end with two different widths and tapered, it provides me with much greater number of combinations and because of the taper the tension locks in place snug. I keep the bottom end completely flat, and taper the top. This provides a multitude of steps

I admire your work, hopefully in a couple more months I can crank out better looking tools and then I'll post some more pics
