When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.
Actually, split the template down the middle and flip it over. Its not quite so annoying that way. I make a lot of double ended picks in that fashion. The Falle picks actually take to it well.
There's a working 1:1 sized template now. (And if a mod could take the time to replace the original tinypic url with the imageshack one, that'd be great.)
