Stainless vs. Spring Steel

When it comes down to it there is nothing better than manual tools for your Lock pick Set, whether they be retail, homebrew, macgyver style. DIY'ers look here.

Steel and Bud. Yeah I guess they aren't too different after all. Thanks for the compliment I do appreciate it.

I do enjoy teaching people for some reason, and I do try to make my writing understandable for the most part. Although I am sure there are places where I didn't do as well as I could have.

I am almost to the stage where I am going to be shooting some video. I recently, (as in tonight) got to sit down and look over a CD called "The Locksmith". I was honestly unimpressed. The only useful part of this CD was having the material together in a package.

Still in all, I am not getting any younger, and I don't think I want to spend four years going back to university. At least, not at this stage in my life.

I hear ya on the university. I plan on spending the next few years trying to get my daughter through college and married off.......
Good luck with the videos, I am certain they will be packed with good, useful, well organized information. :P

Oh, ah, good, useful and well organized? Well, you just had to go and make me work didn't ya?

Actually, that was the plan. I don't know if I can top Pyro's video on making picks. Although I have some techniques that might be useful for anyone seriously interested in making them.

Picking is going to be fun. I have been looking through my junk pile, and I'm not finding any lever locks. I don't know if I want to take the time to build one, or just buy the silly thing.

Made a new cut away lock, and my video camera's macro lens seems to like it, so that shouldn't be so bad.

I am just not sure what all I am going to do at this stage. I guess we'll see.
